The Digital Content Specialist will also serve as a resource for parishes, departments and related entities by providing training and support for communications initiatives and programs. Duties Work with chancery departments to maintain and edit diocesan web pages Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar (i.e., CSM and CFP). Create engaging posts including graphics, photography, video, audio, and other multimedia assets. Write compelling social media captions, website copy, email content and other communications. Repurpose existing content across multiple digital platforms. Provide training, guidance, and technical assistance to parish staff and other diocesan entities on the effective use of diocesan digital communication platforms and best practices. (support them on CSM, Flocknote, and eCatholic including the online giving tools available) Monitor and respond to trends and opportunities to enhance the diocese's digital presence. Assist in planning and executing digital communication strategies for diocesan events, campaigns, and initiatives.(i.e., PIC, Celebrate priesthood, Catholic School Appeal, and special events relating to new bishop installation) Ensure all digital content reflects the teachings, mission, and brand standards of the Diocese of Worcester. Track and report on website, email, and social media performance metrics to help inform future content strategies. Perform other communications-related duties as assigned. Experience Proven experience in digital content creation, management, or related roles within a fast-paced environment Proficiency in digital photography and basic graphic concepts Proficiency in MS Office and a graphics editing platform (e.g. Photoshop, Canva) Demonstrated ability in content writing, editing, storytelling, copywriting, and visual storytelling techniques Knowledge of SEO strategies, keyword research tools, web analytics reporting , and marketing automation platforms Experience with social media management tools Ability to analyze data from marketing analytics tools to optimize content performance effectively Practicing Catholic in good standingPay:
