The Role We are seeking a Digital Marketing Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts. You will lead client strategy, oversee campaign performance, and ensure each account is well managed and positioned for long-term success. Our in-house SEO, paid advertising, web development, and creative teams handle campaign execution. You will work closely with each team to align their work with client goals, and you will be responsible for communicating strategy and results clearly to business owners. A strong working knowledge of each platform is essential, as you will be expected to evaluate performance, identify issues, and recommend solutions with confidence. This position is best suited to candidates who enjoy client leadership and strategy. It may not be the right fit for those seeking a purely hands-on campaign execution role. ongoing training and development, with opportunities to advance as the agency grows. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of digital marketing clients as their primary point of contact. Lead regular strategy and performance meetings by phone and video. Develop and present marketing strategies aligned with each client's business objectives. Coordinate with SEO, PPC, web development, content, and social media teams to keep projects on schedule. Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate results in clear, non-technical terms. Proactively identify at-risk accounts and lead corrective action. Recommend additional services where they align with client needs. Maintain accurate client records and activity in our CRM. Qualifications Hands-on experience in digital marketing, account management, or agency client services. Demonstrated skill matters more to us than years of experience. Strong working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics, demonstrated through our skills assessment. Confidence managing client relationships, including challenging conversations. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing client accounts at a digital marketing agency. Google Ads certification. WordPress experience. CRM experience.
