Earthhouse Farm — Bunnlevel, NC Part-Time | Approximately 10-20 hours per week

Primarily On-Site Pay:

$14.00/hour + Farm Stream revenue participation About Farm Stream Earthhouse Farm is developing Farm Stream , a recurring livestream and digital-content project documenting the real process of developing and operating our approximately 30-acre farm in Bunnlevel, North Carolina. Farm Stream will broadcast three days per week — Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — for approximately three hours per stream. Content will follow real farm activities including livestock care, planting and harvesting, greenhouse work, fencing, construction projects, equipment operation, property improvements, and the everyday challenges of developing a working farm. Our goal is to combine livestreaming, documentary-style storytelling, farm education, and short-form digital content into a long-term media project. About the Role We are looking for a Production & Editing Lead to take primary responsibility for the technical production and post-production side of Farm Stream. This person will work alongside our Camera Operator, farm/content coordinator, production support team, farm workers, and ownership to turn real farm activity into a consistent livestream and digital-content operation. This is a hands-on position combining live production, technical troubleshooting, footage management, and video editing . Because Farm Stream is being developed from the ground up, this person will also have an opportunity to help establish our production workflow, visual style, editing standards, and content formats. Responsibilities Livestream Production Help prepare and operate the Farm Stream livestream production system Manage video and audio feeds during broadcasts Monitor stream quality, connectivity, recording, audio levels, and other technical elements Coordinate with the Camera Operator throughout live broadcasts Assist with cameras, microphones, batteries, networking, and production-equipment setup Troubleshoot technical issues during broadcasts Ensure livestream footage is properly recorded and organized for post-production Assist with graphics, transitions, overlays, and other production elements as Farm Stream develops Help establish efficient setup and breakdown procedures for three weekly broadcasts Editing & Post-Production Review livestream footage and identify strong moments for additional content Edit highlights and selected segments from Farm Stream Create short-form vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms Help develop longer-form YouTube content when appropriate Improve pacing, audio, visual presentation, and storytelling during editing Organize footage and maintain an efficient media-management system Identify recurring segments, stories, and moments that can become standalone content Help establish a recognizable editing and visual style for Farm Stream What We're Looking For We care more about demonstrated ability, reliability, technical aptitude, and creativity than a specific degree or number of years of professional experience.

Ideal candidates should have:

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable professional editing software Understanding of livestream production or the technical ability and willingness to learn it Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, audio, and visual presentation Ability to identify compelling moments from large amounts of unscripted footage Familiarity with vertical short-form content Basic understanding of cameras, microphones, video signals, and production equipment Strong organization and file-management skills Ability to troubleshoot technical problems Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong reliability and punctuality Ability to collaborate effectively with a small production team Experience with OBS or similar livestream software, multicamera production, YouTube production, documentary/reality-style content, social-media editing, or outdoor/event production is especially valuable.

Schedule Farm Stream broadcasts:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Each livestream will run approximately 3 hours , with additional time required for setup, breakdown, footage management, and editing. We anticipate approximately 15-20 hours per week initially. This is primarily an on-site position at Earthhouse Farm in Bunnlevel, NC because the Production & Editing Lead must be present for livestream production. Some post-production and editing work may be completed remotely once production workflows are established. Consistent availability for the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday production schedule is important. Compensation $14.00 per hour + Farm Stream revenue participation In addition to hourly compensation, the Production & Editing Lead will participate in Farm Stream's team revenue-sharing program. The Production & Editing Lead is currently allocated 25% of the Farm Stream team revenue pool , providing additional compensation based on the financial performance of Farm Stream. This structure provides a guaranteed hourly wage while allowing team members who help develop and grow Farm Stream to participate financially in the project's growth. Revenue participation is separate from ownership or equity in Earthhouse Farm or Farm Stream and is subject to the terms of the Farm Stream revenue-participation program. Earthhouse Farm will provide the primary production equipment required for the position.
