Job Description
Job Summary The Manager, Calendar & Pipeline Planning at Denny's, Inc. will lead the development and optimization of our marketing calendar and new product pipeline, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals and efficient execution of initiatives. Job Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and communicate the comprehensive Denny's marketing calendar, encompassing all promotional activities, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance) to gather input and ensure alignment on calendar initiatives. Manage the new product development pipeline, tracking progress from concept to launch and identifying potential roadblocks or dependencies. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review calendar progress, discuss pipeline updates, and make necessary adjustments. Analyze performance data and market trends to inform future calendar planning and pipeline prioritization. Identify opportunities for process improvement within calendar management and pipeline development. Prepare and present calendar and pipeline updates to senior leadership. Oversee the effective use of project management tools and software for calendar and pipeline tracking.
Ensure timely communication of key dates, deliverables, and changes to all relevant teams. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing calendar management, project management, or pipeline planning, preferably within the restaurant or retail industry. Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with new product development processes is a plus.
