Base salary starting at $90K+ per year (based on skills and experience), plus commission, monthly health stipend, and 401(k) matching Position Summary Helisim LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Helisim SAS (an Airbus-Thales joint venture), is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead pilot simulation training sales and marketing efforts across the Americas. This role is responsible for driving revenue, expanding key B2B accounts, analyzing market trends, and executing regional growth strategies for our flight simulation training center.
Essential Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet and exceed simulator capacity, training volume, and revenue targets.
Account Management & Expansion:
Nurture long-term relationships with existing civil and military clients while proactively identifying account expansion opportunities.
Contract Negotiation & Tenders:
Manage public tender processes, draft proposals, and negotiate complex B2B contracts to close high-value deals in alignment with company policies.
Operations & Customer Satisfaction:
Partner with the scheduling and planning teams to execute contracted training smoothly, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
Marketing Collaboration:
Partner with the group-level marketing team to support and deploy localized and group-level marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
Financial Accountabilities:
Build annual regional sales budgets, deliver performance forecasts to senior management, and collaborate with group finance to ensure smooth cash collection of customer receivables.
Compliance & Networking:
Contribute to internal Quality Audits to secure process compliance, and travel to industry events and conferences to network and promote company offerings.
Work Schedule & Travel Schedule:
Helisim operates an extended-hours training facility 7 days per week. Core hours are flexible based on candidate availability, subject to business needs and management approval.
Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel across the Americas region.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales/marketing roles. Minimum of 3 years of experience directly within the aviation sector (specifically aviation training or flight operations).
Languages:
Full professional verbal and written fluency in English.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Authorization:
Valid US work authorization with reliable transportation to and from the Grand Prairie facility. Preferred Qualifications Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Hands-on experience in B2B sales. Hands-on experience with the public tender process. Professional verbal and written fluency in Spanish (strongly preferred), Portuguese, or French (desirable). Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions Physical Tasks:
Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a desk or during trade conferences. Regularly required to walk, talk, hear, and operate computer equipment.
Travel Demands:
Ability to endure frequent long-distance commercial travel, including carrying luggage and materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
Sensory Skills:
Visual acuity required to review data reports, contracts, marketing assets, and computer screens.
