Summary
The Material Expeditor oversees global supply chain material flow, expediting, routing, and dispatching parts to meet production schedules. They review the master production schedule to identify potential or actual shortages, alert the appropriate authorities, and take actions such as ordering damaged material repairs or arranging in-house transportation. They generate progress reports on schedule status, track completed orders, and document material changes, substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications. By working with suppliers through phone calls, emails, and cross-functional collaboration, they resolve issues promptly to keep production on track.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from Accredited university
3-5 years experience as Material Expeditor
3+ years professional experience using Microsoft Office, SAP
Communication, written & verbal
Procurement/Commercial, business acumen and analytical skills
US Citizenship Required, position is not able to support anyone with Dual Citizenship of another country.

- Confident self-starter, with an ability to innovate and think laterally, work confidently both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to work within established processes and procedures
- Experience in working in multi-functional organizations and a proven ability to achieve profession and business goals.
- Capable of operating to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment.
- Travelling
- Minimum of 2 days on site required, must be willing to accommodate 4 days on site as program requires.
- Driving to East Camden AR and/or Lufkin TX may be required during assignment.
