$70,000-$85,000 per year, plus performance incentives About Wild West Motoplex Wild West Motoplex is a leading powersports dealership in Katy, Texas, representing an exciting selection of motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, and other recreational vehicles. We are looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing, Social Media & Events Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day marketing presence. This person will help shape how customers see and interact with Wild West Motoplex—online, in the dealership, and throughout the local community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines creativity with business sense. You should be comfortable filming an exciting motorcycle video one day, managing an advertising campaign the next, and coordinating a major dealership event the following weekend. Position Summary The Marketing, Social Media & Events Manager will oversee Wild West Motoplex's social media presence, digital advertising, promotional calendar, dealership events, and overall marketing strategy. You will work directly with dealership leadership to develop new marketing ideas, promote inventory and dealership departments, evaluate advertising opportunities, and measure the results of our campaigns. The right candidate will be proactive and capable of managing projects independently. We are looking for someone who brings ideas to the table, follows through on them, and understands that successful marketing should ultimately generate customer traffic, qualified leads, and sales. Primary ResponsibilitiesSocial Media and Content Creation Manage the dealership's day-to-day presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms Develop and maintain a consistent weekly and monthly content calendar Photograph and film motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, accessories, employees, customers, and dealership events Produce engaging short-form videos, product walkarounds, customer-delivery posts, promotional content, and behind-the-scenes features Write clear, entertaining, and accurate social media copy Monitor comments and messages and ensure sales inquiries are promptly routed to the appropriate team member Grow audience engagement while maintaining a consistent Wild West Motoplex brand identity Digital Advertising and Campaign Management Plan, launch, manage, and evaluate paid advertising campaigns Manage campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, email, streaming media, and other appropriate channels Develop targeted campaigns for particular brands, product categories, seasonal opportunities, events, and aged inventory Coordinate applicable manufacturer and OEM co-op advertising programs Track advertising budgets, website traffic, qualified leads, cost per lead, conversions, and attributable sales Work with outside advertising vendors and hold them accountable for performance Review new advertising opportunities and make thoughtful recommendations to dealership leadership Marketing Strategy Meet regularly with dealership leadership to discuss campaigns, promotions, results, and new marketing opportunities Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual promotional calendars Recommend how marketing resources and advertising budgets should be allocated Coordinate promotions with the sales, parts, accessories, and service departments Research competitors and identify opportunities within the Houston-area powersports market Prepare clear monthly reports explaining marketing activity, spending, results, and recommended next steps Help ensure that promotional offers, prices, disclaimers, dates, and dealership information are accurate Events and Community Engagement Plan and execute dealership events such as demo days, bike nights, open houses, customer-appreciation events, holiday promotions, and manufacturer activations Coordinate event vendors, food trucks, entertainment, signage, staffing, registrations, and advertising Build relationships with riding clubs, enthusiast groups, community organizations, local businesses, and appropriate influencers Promote events before they occur, create live content during events, and conduct post-event follow-up Evaluate event attendance, lead generation, customer engagement, and overall results Be available for occasional evening and weekend events Branding and Promotional Materials Maintain consistent branding across social media, advertising, email, the dealership website, showroom signage, and printed materials Coordinate website banners, landing pages, email campaigns, promotional graphics, and in-store displays Create routine promotional materials using Canva, Adobe products, or similar design software Coordinate with outside designers, agencies, photographers, or production partners when specialized work is required Ensure marketing materials meet applicable manufacturer brand and co-op requirements Qualifications Three or more years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, event marketing, or a related role Hands-on experience managing paid Meta and Google advertising campaigns Strong photography, videography, and short-form video-production skills Ability to create engaging content using a smartphone, camera, and common editing software Experience planning and executing live promotional events Working knowledge of email marketing, customer databases, and lead-generation campaigns Basic graphic-design ability using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms Ability to understand marketing analytics and explain campaign performance clearly Excellent organizational, communication, and project-management skills Strong attention to detail, particularly with pricing, promotional terms, dates, and brand requirements Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for dealership events Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience Powersports, motorcycle, automotive, marine, RV, outdoor-recreation, or dealership marketing experience Familiarity with dealership operations, inventory marketing, lead management, and seasonal retail promotions Experience working with manufacturer co-op advertising programs Knowledge of the Houston and Katy markets Genuine enthusiasm for motorcycles, powersports, outdoor recreation, and the lifestyle surrounding these products Powersports or dealership experience is strongly preferred, but we will consider an exceptional candidate from another industry who has the right combination of marketing experience, creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm. Compensation Base salary of $70,000-$85,000 per year , depending on experience and demonstrated capabilities Performance-based incentives in addition to base salary Potential annual earnings of approximately $80,000-$97,000 when performance goals are achieved Performance incentives may be based on a combination of: Qualified lead generation and cost per lead Advertising efficiency and budget management Attributable unit, parts, accessories, and service sales Content consistency, reach, and meaningful audience growth Event attendance, lead generation, and event results Completion of agreed-upon marketing objectives Specific performance goals and bonus opportunities will be established with dealership leadership.
