full-time ESC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to support customer acquisition initiatives for a global membership program in Seattle, WA . This 3-month contract role will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing programs designed to drive net-new membership acquisition across paid and owned channels. The Marketing Manager will partner closely with product, paid media, creative, analytics, and agency teams to develop acquisition strategies, manage campaign performance, and deliver measurable growth against acquisition and cost-efficiency goals. This role is ideal for a performance-focused marketer who can work across multiple channels and use data, testing, and customer insights to continually improve campaign results. Key Responsibilities Own and execute customer acquisition marketing campaigns across paid social, programmatic/DSP, display, and owned channels. Develop channel strategies that align with acquisition goals, target audiences, and overall marketing objectives. Recommend and manage budget allocation across acquisition channels based on performance and business priorities. Establish and monitor performance targets including signups, cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and other key acquisition metrics. Partner with paid media stakeholders and agency teams to launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns. Develop and test creative, messaging, and audience strategies to improve customer engagement and conversion. Build and maintain measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Collaborate with product and analytics teams to identify new acquisition opportunities and potential audience segments. Manage budget forecasting, campaign pacing, and monthly and quarterly business review inputs. Partner with creative teams to develop marketing assets and messaging that support acquisition objectives. Coordinate multiple campaigns and workstreams while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines. Present campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Required Qualifications 5+ years of marketing experience with a focus on customer acquisition, performance marketing, or growth marketing. Hands-on experience managing multiple paid acquisition channels, including paid social, programmatic/DSP, and/or display. Experience owning marketing budgets and working toward measurable acquisition and growth targets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and performance metrics to drive marketing decisions. Experience developing, executing, and optimizing performance marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of customer acquisition strategies, audience targeting, and campaign optimization. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in subscription, membership, or customer lifecycle growth marketing. Familiarity with cross-channel media planning. Experience partnering with creative teams and external agencies at scale. Experience with A/B testing and incrementality measurement. Experience presenting campaign performance and recommendations to senior leadership. Experience managing campaigns across a diverse paid media mix rather than focusing primarily on a single channel. Strong understanding of performance marketing measurement, attribution, and optimization. Pay is $54-$56.95/hr based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision.
