Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness and occupancy rates Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and referral sources Maintain active credentialing status with the facility's credentialing vendor Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and prioritize potential admissions Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families, providing information about services and amenities Manage the admissions process, including pre-admission assessments, insurance verification, and completion of paperwork Oversee creation of marketing materials (digital and print), ensuring regulatory and branding compliance Utilize digital marketing channels, including social media, to enhance online presence Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for marketing and admissions efforts, providing data-driven improvement recommendations Support smooth resident transitions by collaborating with internal teams Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities Assist in planning and development efforts across facility operations alongside other department directors
Requirements:
Proven experience in healthcare marketing and admissions, preferably within a inpatient psychiatric/behavioral health setting Demonstrated ability to develop referral relationships with hospitals, emergency departments, nursing facilities, physician practices, and other community referral sources. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships Knowledge of state and federal healthcare admissions and marketing regulations Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance processes Flexibility to attend events and meetings outside regular business hours as needed Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred Experience:
1-2 years of healthcare business development, marketing, referral development, or admissions experience, preferably within inpatient psychiatric/behavioral health or a related healthcare setting.
