Role Description:

The Field Organizer role is a part-time, on-site position based in Huntsville, AL. The Field Organizer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day field operations, including organizing canvassing efforts, outreach events, and volunteer activities. This role involves knocking doors and tracking data. The Field Organizer will collaborate with leadership to adjust field tactics based on real-time feedback and data, maintain accurate reporting on field activities, and build strong relationships with local community partners and stakeholders. The position requires regular on-the-ground presence, flexible hours, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Experience in field organizing, community outreach, or grassroots campaign work, with the ability to plan and execute local engagement strategies. Proficiency in tracking field metrics, using basic data tools or field management platforms, and producing clear reports for leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse community members, partners, and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing needs in the field. Comfort working on-site in Huntsville, AL, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as project needs require. Previous experience in political campaigns, advocacy, nonprofit work, or related fields is preferred but not required.
