In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting electronic components and electro-mechanical assemblies with precision and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of electronics assembly, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) fabrication, and electrical schematic interpretation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative product development while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Duties Perform soldering of surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards following detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of electrical panels and electro-mechanical components. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other precision instruments to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies. Build electrical panels by following engineering specifications, schematics, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality. Conduct mechanical assembly tasks involving machining, fitting, and securing components using appropriate tools. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues by analyzing schematics, wiring diagrams, and using diagnostic equipment. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Assist in the development of manufacturing processes related to soldering techniques and electronics assembly. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process deviations. Skills Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Extensive experience with PCB assembly, surface mount technology (SMT), and electrical wiring. Strong knowledge of soldering techniques compliant with IPC 610 standards. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electro-mechanical components. Ability to use hand tools such as soldering irons, power tools, calipers, and multimeters effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and mechanical assembly. Experience with engineering troubleshooting to resolve complex electrical or mechanical issues. Understanding of manufacturing processes including electronics assembly, electrical panel building, and quality inspection procedures. Knowledge of electrical schematic reading, blueprint following, and schematic interpretation for accurate assembly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This role is integral to our production team's success in delivering high-quality electronic products.
