WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
) We need a marketing professional — not an admin or secretary. This role is for someone who understands how to coordinate, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels. We already have a framework and clear priorities, but a lot of the details still need to get built out, so this isn't a role where every step is spelled out for you. You'll make sure campaigns don't just get started but actually keep running and get results.
That means:
Coordinating PPC, SEO, email, and direct mail campaigns Updating and optimizing our website Writing and editing marketing copy for emails, ads, landing pages, and blogs (you don't need to be a pro copywriter, but you need to know what "good" looks like) Editing photos, video, and graphics for ads and social (Canva, Photoshop, or whatever you're comfortable in); you don't need to be a professional designer, but you need a good eye Managing lists, spreadsheets, reports, and campaign data to keep everything on track Helping analyze results and suggest optimizations Working with designers, writers, and leadership to move projects from idea to execution Pitching creative ideas to test (we love experimenting) This role is full-time, in-office (Mesa/Gilbert border), and very hands-on.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
This isn't exact, but here's a picture of a productive week: Compile mailing list and send postcard to printer with instructions Schedule 3 social media posts for next week Outline next month's social calendar Review ad performance of a specific campaign, make adjustments, and launch a new A/B test Brainstorm the concepts of a new video advertisement Help put the finishing touches on different video ad campaign getting ready for launch Write 3 blog posts part of a targeted SEO/AEO campaign Write and schedule 2 marketing emails Document campaign expenses and update campaign reporting Coordinate with a specific vendor about an ongoing project So, kind of a wide range of different marketing functions. You'll collaborate with your manager (that's me), but we expect you to be independent (or at least have the potential to become independent) and proactive in keeping campaigns moving. You'll also collaborate with other members of our marketing team, so, you need to be able to work well with others.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're not looking for a task robot, and we're not looking for someone whose only marketing experience is posting on social media for their cousin's Etsy shop. We're looking for someone who: Has at least a little foundation in marketing, whether that's a degree, an internship, or time with an agency or in-house team, enough that you've been exposed to how real marketing strategy and B2B lead generation actually work. Has a sharp mind and is eager to learn and do more. Has at least one or two concrete skills you can point to, like a solid eye for design in Canva or Photoshop, some video editing chops, or persuasive writing that translates to social posts, emails, newsletters, or blogs, so you can start contributing right away. Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving parts without losing track. Understand marketing strategy and tactics (at least at basic level) and is looking to make a career out of marketing. Understands that marketing is a numbers game and that every campaign can be improved and optimized and is willing to dig into the numbers to figure out what to tweak. Is comfortable with tech and excited to learn new tools (especially AI and marketing automation). Can handle both repetitive tasks (data entry, scheduling posts) and analytical tasks (reviewing campaign results). Communicates clearly, takes ownership, and works well with a team. Is ok with being given constructive feedback, and is also willing to give feedback and share ideas and opinions and collaborate in a team environment. Is dependable to the team and can get stuff done and carry their own load in a team environment. Can take a goal and some simple direction and figure out the rest on your own (using Claude, ChatGPT, or YouTube to work through the details is totally fair game), then come back with the specific questions that are actually hanging you up, not "how do I start?" Is comfortable working independently for most of the day (think 7+ hours) without someone walking you through every step; you'll own a lot of the execution once you know the goal. Wants to grow their skills and expand into bigger marketing responsibilities over time. Knows how to type efficiently on a keyboard with all 10-fingers (it pains me that I have to include that )
TOOLS YOU'LL BE USING HERE
You don't need to be an expert in these things, but you should already be pretty good with some of these things and comfortable learning and using new tools.
