Job Description

We are looking for an Email Developer to join a healthcare organization in Irvine, California on a Contract basis. This position focuses on executing active student communication initiatives across multiple business units, with an emphasis on building, maintaining, and deploying campaigns already running in production. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist who can work confidently with email builds, audience data, and automated journeys in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and update email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Content Builder to support student-facing communications across multiple business units.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks before launch to confirm campaign accuracy, functionality, and readiness for deployment.
  • Develop and modify AMPscript to deliver personalized messaging, apply conditional content, and support dynamic email experiences.
  • Create, organize, and maintain Data Extensions used for audience segmentation and campaign execution.
  • Manage existing journeys and Automation Studio processes to keep scheduled communications running smoothly.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery, automation, or configuration issues that affect campaign performance or timing.
  • Partner with marketing, design, and technical stakeholders to translate approved assets and requirements into production-ready emails.
  • Work within a multi-business-unit Marketing Cloud environment with broad platform access while supporting continuity for live campaigns during a backfill period.
