In this role you will be the first point contact for our diverse client base, providing exceptional sales support and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. You will utilize your strong communication skills and influencing abilities to create and maintain strong relationships, analyze customer inquiries and deliver effective product solutions. This position requires regular travel to various client sites within a region, necessitating reliable transportation and the ability to drive is essential. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong and safe driving record and be comfortable and willing to travel local, frequently. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hands-on, fast paced environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Field-Based Sales Operations:
Customarily and regularly spend more than 50% of working time outside of the office performing direct sales activities, conducting face-to-face fleet evaluations, and acquiring new accounts within the assigned logistics territory.
Lead Generation & Relationship Management:
Identify, prospect, and engage trucking fleets, owner-operators, and trailer logistics companies. Build trust and sustain multi-tier professional partnerships within the English- and Mandarin-speaking trucking business communities.
Technical Consultation:
Serve as the primary product expert in the field, evaluating fleet tracking needs and demonstrating the business value of our asset management systems. Installation of products as needed.
Contract Negotiation:
Deliver field presentations, draft formal commercial proposals, negotiate hardware/SaaS subscription pricing frameworks, and close sales contracts in the field.
CRM Reporting:
Manage and document daily field activities, pipeline growth, and client communications using our internal CRM database.
Minimum Qualifications Experience:
Proven experience in outside sales, industrial B2B client acquisition, or field sales. Experience selling telematics, aftermarket automotive parts, or hardware to the trucking/logistics sector is highly preferred.
Language Proficiency:
Business-level fluency and written/verbal proficiency in both English and Mandarin. This language requirement is a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) essential to establishing direct field communications and managing accounts with our core Mandarin-speaking fleet demographics.
Travel & Vehicle Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and independent, reliable vehicle transportation to support extensive local field travel throughout the designated Southern California territory.
Core Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal, time management, and territory planning skills. Self-motivated to manage a remote field schedule independently.

Business Expense & Vehicle Reimbursement:
In compliance with California Labor Code Section 2802, the company provides approved business expense reimbursement and vehicle mileage reimbursement at the official IRS standard rate to cover all necessary business expenditures incurred in the line of duty. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Requires active field travel, including driving a motor vehicle for extended intervals to meet clients at trucking yards, terminals, and corporate operational locations. Frequently involves walking, standing, and interacting with clients in industrial, logistics, and fleet parking environments. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion (e.g., carrying marketing material, product samples, or hardware demonstration units). A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service for a wide variety of client interactions. California Pay Transparency Compliance The stated base salary range ($47,840 - $54,000) represents the good-faith expected salary range for this role at the time of posting. Actual starting pay is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic territory, relevant field experience, and specialized skill sets. This role is eligible for performance commission plan and the comprehensive corporate benefits package outlined above.
