Job Description
Position Summary:
The Marketing Content Copywriter writes, edits, and adapts teaching content into clear, compelling digital marketing and inspirational materials in Turning Point's established voice. Reporting to the Managing Editor, this role works collaboratively with the Senior Digital Content Manager, who helps set day-to-day priorities, guides assignments, and approves final copy for digital use. The position requires strong editorial judgment, theological accuracy, consistency, and the ability to manage a steady volume of work across formats, channels, and audiences, while serving as a steward of Turning Point's editorial voice and brand standards across written communications.Essential Functions:
Write, edit, and adapt approved teaching content into marketing copy into compelling campaigns, inspirational articles, web content, ministry resources, and other audience-specific materials in Turning Point's established voice, theological standards, and strategic messaging. Edit, excerpt, and adapt copy for a variety of formats, channels, and audiences. Partner with the Senior Digital Content Manager to prioritize assignments and refine and finalize copy. Manage a steady volume of editorial work while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy and consistency. Exercise editorial judgment to ensure content is theologically accurate, faithful to approved source material, and consistent with editorial and brand standards. Incorporate feedback and coordinate with internal teams to ensure copy is cohesive and appropriate for each audience and channel. Leverage approved AI and editorial technologies to enhance research, efficiency, editing, and content development while maintaining originality, theological integrity, and editorial judgment.Core Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience Three or more years of professional writing, editing, or content marketing experience preferred Ability to translate theological concepts into clear, compelling communications for diverse audiences Strong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills Ability to write in an established voice across marketing and inspirational content Experience adapting long-form source material for multiple formats and audiences Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple writing projects from concept through final delivery Ability to receive direction, incorporate feedback, and manage recurring assignments Christian ministry, publishing, fundraising, or donor communications experience preferred Working for Turning Point - What toExpect:

Position is Non-Exempt, full-time at Turning Point International Headquarters in Lakeside, CA The expected hourly range for this position is $27 to $31/hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
