Full Job Description Description:
We are an independent insurance agency seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Processor / Remarketing Specialist to support Account Managers, agents, and internal teams through accurate policy processing, remarketing support, and client service. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research using multiple data sources, including Epic, Redfin/Zillow, and tax assessor records, to ensure quote and policy accuracy Review current insurance policies and work with multiple carriers to secure competitive and appropriate coverage options Navigate carrier websites while staying current on underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites Attend and coordinate with marketing representatives and carrier meetings as needed Communicate effectively with remarketing teams, agents, and staff across multiple branches and states via Teams, email, and phone Maintain and update client databases while verifying policy and account information Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, audits, maintenance requests, and certificates within agency guidelines Order MVRs, loss runs, and change requests as needed Review endorsements and distribute policies for third-party checks Escalate complex or premium-bearing changes and audits to Account Managers or Producers Maintain organized activity logs, suspense reports, document storage, scanning, and recordkeeping Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, remarketing notes, and detailed quote documentation Ensure accuracy in data entry while clearly communicating important policy details and updates to agents Support and maintain remarketing workflow processes to streamline productivity and meet deadlines Perform additional administrative and insurance-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred; required within 90 days of employment Proficiency in Excel; PowerPoint and Adobe experience are a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Strong customer service and professional communication skills Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently while remaining team-oriented Demonstrated initiative and ownership of responsibilities Ability to maintain detailed records and organized documentation in a high-volume environment
