Opportunity for advancement Training & development Bonus based on performance About the Opportunity We are seeking an outgoing, community-minded Business Development & Brand Ambassador to generate qualified opportunities for kitchen and whole-home remodeling projects. You will represent our company at home shows, farmers' markets, trade shows, community events, networking opportunities, and through local outreach. Your primary goal is to connect with homeowners, understand their remodeling needs, pre-qualify potential projects, and schedule design consultations. This is a flexible, performance-based opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and creating new business. There is no base salary. What You'll Do Generate remodeling leads through community events, networking, referral relationships, local businesses, and proactive outreach Speak with homeowners about their kitchen and whole-home remodeling goals Pre-qualify prospective clients using a company-provided questionnaire Schedule qualified homeowners for initial design consultations Enter appointments and lead details accurately into Service Minder Notify the sales team promptly when qualified appointments are scheduled Confirm appointments and follow up with homeowners to improve attendance Represent the company at home shows, farmers markets, trade shows, and approved community events Support approved pre-event, live-event, and post-event social media promotion Use company-approved messaging, promotions, and marketing materials Track lead sources, appointments, attendance, and project outcomes What Counts as a Qualified Lead?
A qualified lead must:
Be a homeowner or authorized property decision-maker Be located within the company's approved service territory Have a genuine interest in an eligible kitchen or whole-home remodeling project Have project timing and investment expectations that reasonably align with our services Provide valid contact information and consent to company follow-up Book and attend an initial design consultation Be entered completely and accurately into Service Minder Not already exist in the company's active database or have been submitted by another source Business cards, raffle entries, duplicate contacts, vendor solicitations, and unverified names without clear remodeling interest are not considered qualified leads. Compensation This is a commission-only opportunity with no base salary. $150 for each qualified initial consultation that is booked and attended Additional closed-project bonuses based on final contract value: $20,000
  • 29,999 contract: $300 bonus $30,000
  • 49,999 contract: $450 bonus $50,000
  • 74,999 contract: $600 bonus $75,000
  • 99,999 contract: $750 bonus $100,000 or more: $850 bonus Including the previously paid appointment fee, the maximum total payout for a single originating lead is $1,000.
Example:
Fifteen attended consultations would generate $2,250 in appointment compensation. Four closed projects averaging a $600 bonus would add approximately $2,400, for illustrative monthly earnings of $4,650. This example is not a guarantee. Actual earnings depend on qualified appointments, homeowner attendance, contract values, closed projects, and individual performance. What We're Looking For Experience in business development, networking, appointment setting, community outreach, field marketing, or consultative sales Remodeling, construction, real estate, design, or home-services experience is helpful but not required Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills Ability to start conversations and build trust with homeowners Strong follow-through and attention to detail Comfort asking project qualification and investment-related questions Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Willingness to attend selected evening and weekend events Reliable local transportation Ability to use email, social media, a smartphone, and CRM software Commitment to confidentiality, consumer privacy, and professional brand standards Approved Business Expenses The company pays pre-approved booth and table fees for authorized events. Certain approved local mileage and marketing expenses may be reimbursable with prior written approval and proper documentation. Why Join Us?
