The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in advancing our marketing program, helping to modernize curriculum, expand experiential learning opportunities, and strengthen partnerships with businesses and organizations. This position is tenure-track with an anticipated start date of August 2027. This role offers the opportunity to Serve as a lead faculty member within the marketing program.\nInfluence the future direction of marketing education at BVU.\nDevelop innovative courses that reflect emerging trends in digital marketing, analytics, consumer behavior, AI-enabled marketing, branding, and strategic communications.\nBuild partnerships with businesses and industry leaders that create meaningful learning opportunities for students.\nMentor students as they prepare for careers in marketing, sales, advertising, entrepreneurship, and related fields.\nContribute to a collaborative and student-centered academic community.

Primary Responsibilities:

Teach 12 credit hours during both fall and spring semesters.\nDeliver engaging student-centered instruction in marketing courses and the business core curriculum.\nIncorporate experiential and project-based learning opportunities into coursework.\nHelp lead the ongoing review, enhancement, and modernization of the marketing curriculum.\nFoster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and success.\nMentor and advise students regarding academic, professional, and career development.\nSupervise student projects, internships, and student organizations as appropriate.\nBuild and maintain relationships with marketing professionals, agencies, corporations, entrepreneurs, and community organizations.\nFacilitate internship, networking, and career opportunities for students.\nRemain professionally active through scholarship, industry engagement, certifications, consulting, professional development, or other relevant activities.\nParticipate in university service, including committee assignments, academic advising, and departmental initiatives.\nAssist with student recruitment and represent the University at outreach and admissions events.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.\nDemonstrated ability or strong potential to provide high-quality undergraduate instruction.\nCommitment to student mentoring, advising, and professional development.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and external partners.\nCommitment to engaging and supporting students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Preferred Qualification Doctorate in Marketing or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.\nProfessional experience in marketing, advertising, digital marketing, sales, brand management, market research, analytics, communications, entrepreneurship, or related fields.\nPostsecondary teaching experience.\nExperience teaching in both face-to-face and online environments.\nExperience developing industry partnerships, internships, or experiential learning opportunities.\nEvidence of scholarship, consulting, professional leadership, or other meaningful contributions to the field.
