CrisisCenterysb.org The Crisis Center is seeking a creative and community-focused Marketing Specialist to join our Development Department. In this role, you will help increase awareness of our mission through marketing, communications, community outreach, and public engagement while supporting fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies. Create content for social media, newsletters, website, email, press releases, brochures, and fundraising campaigns. Manage social media, website updates, and marketing analytics. Coordinate media relations and promote events and organizational initiatives. Represent the organization at community events and deliver presentations. Build relationships with community partners, donors, volunteers, businesses, and media. Support fundraising events and ensure consistent branding across all communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of marketing, communications, public relations, volunteer management and/or donor relations. Experience with social media, email marketing, website management, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems preferred. Excellent communication, organization, public speaking, and project management skills. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel locally.
