Description:

Internships available across the MKC footprint. As an operations intern you will be located at one of our larger locations and gain experience in all aspects of the cooperative's role. You will learn the entire agronomy and grain handling chain from the seed being planted in the field to the grain moving to one of our many end users. You will have the opportunity to interact with and assist our farmer/owners who we help deliver a safe food supply to the world. Excellent communication, willingness to take initiative and desire to be a part of a team are requirements for this role. To be successful in this role, applicants should be motivated, eager to learn and try new things and enjoy working at a fast paced in a team environment. Summer projects frequently focus on improving customer service, safety, and finding innovative ways to be efficient. You will be given the opportunity to grow yourself through professional and technical skill development activities. We want to add as much value to you as you add to MKC during your internship!
