As our intern, you'll capture the creativity, joy, andmunity that make New Art special—from classes and camps to exhibitions and events—while building hands-on experience in content creation, email marketing, and performance analysis across channels. Your work will inspire new students and families to discover New Art, while building a strong portfolio in visual storytelling and nonprofit digital marketing. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative,anized, detail-oriented, and data-driven college student or recent graduate interested in arts administration, marketing, or nonprofitmunications. Key Responsibilities Content Creation and Copywriting Photograph and film classes, workshops, exhibitions, andmunity events for marketing materials Brainstorm, script, shoot, and edit short-form video (Reels, Stories, TikToks) and static graphics Create and schedule content across , , , and TikTok Write captions, headlines, stories, and calls-to-action tailored to specific audiences Maintain a content calendar aligned with seasonal programming Collaborate with staff to promote exhibitions, camps, workshops, and events Organize and maintain New Art's digital content library in Google Drive, ensuring photos and videos are easy to find and reuse Digital Marketing & Analytics Assist with email newsletters and segmented campaigns (Constant ) for courses, fundraising appeals, or announcements Track engagement and gather weekly performance metrics using Google Analytics and platform-native dashboards Suggest data-informed ideas to grow audience and improve reach Monitor direct messages, respond toments, and cultivatemunity engagement online You'll create photography, short-form videos, artist spotlights, behind-the-scenes content, student success stories, and other digital content that showcases the creativity happening every day at New Art. Qualifications:
Qualifications Minimum Requirements Education:
Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business Interest in visual arts, photography, storytelling, nonprofit work, or marketing Comfortable with , , Canva and basic photo/video editing Strong writing skills and attention to detail Creative, reliable,anized, and able to work independently Comfortable interacting with students, families, and teaching artists to capture authentic moments
Marketing Tech:
Familiarity with Canva, Constant , and other design and video software Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Skills Design Tools:
Basic proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or similar graphic design applications
Video Editing:
Experience editing mobile video through CapCut, Premiere Rush, or native app interfaces
