Basic Job Duties:
Performs all the duties of the Marketer in order to promote goodwill for A & D's reputation and services, and to ultimately solicit business for the agency. Possesses specialized knowledge and experience which enables them to better communicate the services of the agency. Provides information to potential clients including hospitals, physician offices, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other potential sales leads. Able to communicate the mission, values, philosophy, policies/procedures and standards of care that A&D Health Care Professionals is committed to uphold. Communicates and obtains pertinent information between potential clients and the Clinical Supervisor/designee, other clinicians involved in a client's care. Reports to the Chief Operating Office and or Marketing Director.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one-year sales experience in the local service area in health care, preferably in a home health care setting. Demonstrated knowledge of home health services and external regulations preferred. Positive, professional interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated successful customer relations. Critical to have both cognitive and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Essential Job Functions and Physical Requirements:
Able to interact successfully with clients, family members, medical professionals, long term care facilities, hospitals, other A&D Health Care Professionals employees, and case managers. Attends local events to positively market the agency and communicate the home services that are available. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with superiors, physicians, field staff, office personnel, and clients/families. Must be able to operate an automobile and have access to personal transportation. Able to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include walking, standing or sitting for long periods of time. Fully understands and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA standards. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to complete multi-tasks, meet multi-deadlines and to work in a stressful environment. Must have effective time management skills. Must be able to successfully provide effective team support for both office and field staff. Able to report for work on a regularly scheduled basis. Able to lift / transfer / push / pull up to 80-150 pounds frequently and up to 125-250 pounds infrequently using assistive techniques and devices appropriate to manage the task. Must be aware of the need for maintaining a positive image and environment at all times. Must maintain a professional level of self-grooming and attire. Recommended attire would be business casual. Other job duties as assigned.
