Job Description

We are looking for a talented Marketing Specialist - Senior to join our team in Eaton Cummins Joint Venture (ECJV): Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies in Galesburg, MI. This role is an employee of the Eaton Cummins Joint Venture (ECJV): Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies. Internal candidates are defined as employees of the ECJV. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Stakeholder Partnership & Alignment:
Build strong relationships across customers, sales, product, and cross-functional teams by anticipating stakeholder needs, balancing competing priorities, and driving alignment toward shared business objectives.
Strategic Communication & Influence:
Deliver clear, audience-focused communications that translate complex market insights into actionable strategies, enabling informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Customer-Centric Growth:
Strengthen customer relationships by identifying evolving needs, championing customer-focused solutions, and ensuring business strategies remain aligned with market demands.
Market Intelligence & Insight Generation:
Research, analyze, and synthesize market trends, competitive dynamics, customer feedback, and channel developments to uncover opportunities that support growth and competitive advantage.
Marketing Strategy Execution:
Develop and influence marketing plans across Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement, ensuring initiatives effectively address customer needs while driving business performance.
Cross-Functional Engagement & Collaboration:
Foster an environment of engagement and accountability by bringing teams together around common goals, encouraging participation, and inspiring high-performance outcomes.
Planning, Prioritization & Resource Optimization:
Align priorities with organizational objectives, efficiently deploy resources, and execute strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business results.

Leverage diverse viewpoints, backgrounds, and experiences to strengthen problem-solving, enhance innovation, and create solutions that resonate across customers, markets, and stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Strategic Communications Management:
Effectively manage and coordinate communications across multiple channels, including social media, press releases, mass communications, and internal platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and audience engagement.
Content Development & Marketing Excellence:
Create compelling marketing and communications content that strengthens brand awareness, supports business objectives, and resonates with target audiences.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Monitor communication performance metrics, analyze results, and continuously optimize strategies and campaigns to improve effectiveness and reach.
Market Intelligence & Customer Insights:
Leverage market research, data mining techniques, and CRM insights to identify trends, understand customer needs, and inform strategic marketing and business decisions.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related subject required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. Knowledge of and experience using the four P's of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) required.
