Position:
(Purpose of the Position): The Deputy Secretary of Marketing and Communications is responsible for implementing the strategic marketing and communications plan for the Student Government Association as outlined in the most updated version of the Student Government Association bylaws.

Graphic Design Team Management Strategic Planning Internal and External Communication Time Management Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the SGA Secretary of Marketing and Communications to oversee all SGA publicity, ensuring efficient publicity and compliance with SGA style guidelines. Create posters, brochures, and other materials as requested. Identify marketing priorities and develop PR campaigns (using print, web, special events, etc.) to advertise events and initiatives of SGA. Maintain three weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities (BC 108)
Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills) Graphic design skills Familiarity with or ability to learn programs within the Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Ability to meet deadlines Competent communication and collaboration skills. Strong leadership and teamwork abilities. Must be of sophomore standing or higher at the time in which the position is assumed. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Must not be found in violation of any St. Olaf policies.
