Hospitality Marketing Specialist — Lake Placid, NY Full-Time | Lake Placid, NY Got a great eye, a way with words, and a soft spot for good beer and good people? We're looking for our next Hospitality Marketing Specialist to be the creative engine behind our four Lake Placid venues — including the launch of our newest spot. For 30 years we've been pouring pints and feeding hungry hikers, skiers, tourists, and locals right here in the Adirondacks with The Lake Placid Pub & Brewery, Big Slide Brewery & Public House, and RiverTrail Beerworks . Now we're expanding: this November we're opening The Fringe , a bar and lounge right on Main Street with three golf simulators, a full bar, and a small-but-mighty menu. You'll be right there helping us build buzz for it from the ground up — not just posting about a place that already exists, but actually shaping how the whole town gets excited about a brand new one. What you'll actually be doing: Getting out from behind a desk and into our venues — camera in hand — to capture the food, the pours, the events, and the general experiences that make these places special. Expect to be on-site during the busy hours (happy hours, weekend crowds, release nights), because that's when the good content actually happens Leading the launch buzz for The Fringe — teaser content, opening-week coverage, and ongoing promotion for our newest venue as it becomes the spot on Main Street Running day-to-day social media across all four brands: daily posting, editing reels/TikToks, story updates, and actually replying to the DMs and comments (we like our people to feel heard) Keeping our tap lists, Untappd, and TV boards current, plus updating web menus, hours, and promo pages so nobody shows up disappointed that the seasonal IPA is gone Designing graphics, logos, flyers, and promo materials for events, releases, and specials — you'll be the reason our posters don't look like they were made in 2009 Planning out a monthly content and promo calendar so we're never scrambling the night before a big release What we're looking for: An experienced person who genuinely likes photography, social media, and design — this isn't a "figure it out as you go" role, we want someone who already loves this stuff Someone who knows how to use organic social effectively and create meaningful content that authentically captures our brand's look, feel, and voice. We're also looking for someone who can spot emerging trends and act on them at the right time to maximize their impact. Marketing degree preferred but not necessary depending on experience Comfortable driving between four locations and working some evenings and weekends — this is a real 40-hour-a-week job, not a 9-to-5 Reliable and organized enough to juggle four brands without mixing up which one just released what Bonus points if you know your way around a pint glass (or a golf simulator) and can talk shop about beer without us having to explain what a "hazy" is The details: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay:
$52,000-$65,000/year, depending on experience Monthly mileage/gas stipend for traveling between locations Generous in-kind, food, and drink privileges at all four locations Basic gear potentially provided (camera, lighting, tripod) — bring your creative eye, we'll help with the equipment Get in on the ground floor of a brand-new venue opening this November This is a real Lake Placid job — living in the best outdoor town in the Northeast is many people's favorite part of the compensation package If you want a job where your work actually gets seen (and tasted, and toasted) by real people every single day, we'd love to hear from you.
