Job Description
Multimedia Specialist Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a content marketing consultant for agency teams supporting clients with content development and distribution deliverables.
- Integrate with the planning efforts of the strategy and CX teams to define audiences, customer journeys, and content ecosystem dynamics associated with client marketing campaigns and objectives.
- Help define and establish the role of content marketing in overall strategic marketing plans, and champion the importance of the content marketing discipline.
- Lead the development and distribution of compelling and engaging content strategies and executions, working closely with martech and business intelligence teams to measure and report performance metrics.
- Lead the agency's own content marketing effort through strategic activation of social media assets and other owned, earned and paid channels.
- Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to the Social Media Strategist and connected contractors, vendors and internal resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on content strategy experience required.
- Advertising agency experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep interest in and demonstrated understanding of content marketing best practices and trends.
- Experience directing the development of a variety of social media and content marketing materials (link to portfolio requested).
- Creativity in developing solutions for client needs.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with social listening and other marketing insights software such as SpredFast, Nuvi, and other tools.
- Proven track record of effective problem solving.
- High energy, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- SEO, Public Relations, journalistic writing, graphic design and other digital marketing experience a plus.
