This is a hands-on, community-facing position. The primary focus is to build relationships throughout the Amarillo community, develop local partnerships, attend events, and generate new guests for our center. This is not primarily a social media or digital marketing position . We are looking for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, meeting people, networking, and creating relationships that generate business. Compensation & Position Structure $1,200 per month $20 for every qualified new guest directly generated by the Community Marketing Specialist. Complimentary services A qualified new guest is defined as a guest who has not visited our center within the previous 6 months and completes a service. Must work a minimum of 15 hours per week . All community outreach and work hours must be tracked and documented. This is a month-to-month position based on effectiveness and business results . Continued employment will be evaluated monthly based on activity, partnerships developed, qualified new guests generated, and the overall value the position is bringing to the center. The position may be continued, modified, or discontinued from month to month based on performance and business needs. Primary Responsibilities Build relationships with local businesses and organizations. Develop referral partnerships with gyms, fitness studios, salons, boutiques, med spas, apartment communities, bridal businesses, hotels, and other complementary businesses. Attend local networking events and community events. Represent European Wax Center professionally throughout the Amarillo community. Organize and participate in community promotions, pop-ups, and outreach opportunities. Visit local businesses and introduce them to European Wax Center. Develop employee discount and referral opportunities with local businesses. Follow up consistently with prospective partners. Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and new guest traffic. Track outreach activity, partnerships, referrals, and new guests generated. Work closely with the Center Manager to coordinate local marketing efforts. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be: Outgoing, friendly, and personable A natural networker and relationship builder Well-connected within the Amarillo community or eager to become connected Comfortable approaching business owners and community leaders Self-motivated and able to work independently Organized and consistent with follow-up Professional and confident representing a recognizable beauty brand Results-oriented and motivated by new business Comfortable attending community events and networking opportunities Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, event planning, hospitality, fitness, beauty, retail, or community outreach is a plus, but personality, initiative, and community connection are more important than a specific degree or job title. How Success Will Be Measured The position will be results-oriented and will include tracking of: Community outreach activity Local businesses contacted and visited Follow-up activity New partnerships established Community events attended Referral opportunities created Qualified new guests generated Revenue generated through community marketing efforts The Community Marketing Specialist will provide a weekly activity report and meet regularly with management to review progress and results. Month-to-Month Evaluation At the end of each month, management will evaluate whether the position is producing a meaningful return for the center. Continued engagement will be based on factors including: Quality and consistency of community outreach Partnerships and relationships developed Qualified new guests generated Revenue generated Overall initiative and effectiveness Contribution to the growth and visibility of the Amarillo location The objective is to create a performance-driven position where continued employment is earned through measurable results and demonstrated value to the business. What We're Looking For This role is designed for someone who wants to get out into the community and make things happen . We are not looking for someone whose primary focus is sitting behind a computer creating social media posts. We are looking for a person who will walk into businesses, introduce themselves, build relationships, attend events, create partnerships, and ultimately bring new guests through our doors.
