(CTSI) (IN-DMCT-IUINA) Job Summary Department-Specific Responsibilities Plans, develops, implements, and optimizes digital marketing campaigns that promote Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) programs, services, research opportunities, events, and impact. Creates and executes multi-channel communication strategies across websites, social media, email marketing, newsletters, and emerging digital platforms. Develops targeted content and messaging for diverse audiences, including investigators, faculty, research participants, community members, funders, policymakers, and the public. Partners with research recruitment and community engagement teams to increase awareness of research opportunities, support participant recruitment efforts, and advance health research literacy. Coordinates the development of visual and written content that aligns with Indiana CTSI branding, communication standards, and strategic priorities. Monitors, analyzes, and reports on digital marketing performance using analytics tools; leverages data and audience insights to improve engagement, visibility, and service utilization. Identifies opportunities to enhance user experience, audience engagement, and overall effectiveness of digital communications. Supervises and coordinates the work of assigned communications team members, including project prioritization, workload management, performance feedback, and professional development support. Serves as a collaborative leader across communications, recruitment, and public engagement initiatives, ensuring integrated and effective outreach strategies. Promotes and communicates research achievements, success stories, and organizational impact to internal and external audiences. General Responsibilities Plans, analyzes, and develops marketing and creative strategies to promote Indiana University through digital channels and increase exposure to a target audience. Reviews and analyzes usage trends and effectiveness of digital marketing strategies, determine and implement changes as necessary. Consults with staff, faculty, colleagues, departments, and/or other stakeholders to determine high-level strategies for specific programs, goals, audiences, and objectives. Collaborates with marketing and web teams to identify a target market and create a marketing campaign for digital technologies. Responsible for alignment with university mission, strategies, objectives, and brand guidelines across all digital marketing platforms and content. Designs user experience interfaces to ensure consistent and engaging platforms. May plan and develops integrated digital advertising schedules. EDUCATION
Required Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field Preferred Master's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, digital media, or a related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
