Job Description

About HGD Media Group & RYM Magazine HGD Media Group is a diversified media powerhouse spanning digital platforms, print, music production, and live entertainment. Our flagship brand, RYM Magazine, is a validated authority in cultural impact, aligning with the industry's most respected architects. In 2025, our dual-cover anniversary issue triggered explosive growth, including a 28,067% increase in reach within seven hours of launch. With a global footprint across 12 US states and 4 continents, we support talent where they actually perform—from Nevada and Texas to Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. We don't just follow charts; we define the catalog of the future. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Editorial Operations & Marketing Intern to join our global editorial team for a 9-month program.
Please note:
This is not a writing role. This position focuses on the logistics, execution, and strategy that keep a major magazine running—from managing flat plans and editorial workflows to driving marketing content and social media strategy. If you are fascinated by what happens behind the scenes to produce a magazine and bring it to a global audience of over 15M multi-platform members, this role is for you. (
Note:
While this is an operations and marketing role, writing opportunities are open to anyone in the company who wishes to pitch!)

Marketing & Social Strategy:
Develop, schedule, and execute social media assets and marketing content tailored around our editorial releases to drive reader engagement.
Brand & Audience Alignment:
Support marketing initiatives that maintain high engagement for our 7,000+ verified DTC subscribers and key decision-makers at UMG, Sony, Warner, and Live Nation.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Serve as the connective tissue between editorial planning, visual design, and audience growth strategies.
Requirements Operations & Marketing Focus:
Passion for project management, organizational systems, publication logistics, and digital/social media marketing.
Connectivity:
Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet to thrive in our remote, real-time environment.
Professionalism:
Ability to manage multiple moving parts, meet strict deadlines, and maintain seamless communication across teams.
Demographic Insight:
Familiarity with social media trends, digital marketing tactics, and our core "Decision Maker" audience (aged 25-44).
Benefits & Perks Money-Can't-Buy Access:
Potential access to backstage meet-and-greets, red carpets, and VIP events for major artists, as well as potential access to award shows like the GRAMMYs and the Billboard Music Awards.

Hands-on experience driving real-world metrics, like our recent 1,375% increase in external link taps.
Career Path & Mentorship:
Direct mentorship from industry leaders with potential for a full-time paid position upon program completion.
Additional Benefits:
Flexible schedule, professional development assistance, and employee assistance program. Application Question(s): We operate in a fast-paced, remote environment where communication is our lifeline. What is your 'Golden Rule' for project management and email responsiveness? Part of your role involves marketing our editorial content.
