  • Internal & External About the Role Christy Sports is seeking a hands-on Email Marketing Specialist to support the design, production, and execution of our email and SMS marketing programs during the winter season.
This is a temporary, hybrid role requiring two days per week in our Lakewood, Colorado office . We're looking to fill the position by November 2026, and expect the assignment to continue through late March or early April 2027.

31 biweekly The ideal candidate can take a campaign from brief to deployment: turning campaign goals into compelling email designs, building campaigns in our email platform, managing audiences and personalization, checking every detail before launch, and scheduling deployment. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable working in design tools and executing campaigns in an email and SMS platform. Key Responsibilities Email and SMS Campaign Production Build, test, schedule, and deploy email and SMS campaigns based on the marketing calendar, campaign briefs, and business priorities. Support each stage of campaign production, including creative development, email design, audience segmentation, personalization, and deployment. Conduct pre-deployment quality checks of links, offers, personalization, audience selection, rendering, tracking, and mobile responsiveness. Design emails with attention to readability, accessibility, calls to action, brand consistency, and conversion. Help improve email templates and reusable design components based on performance and business needs. Campaign Coordination Support the email and SMS marketing calendar in partnership with the CRM Manager and Integrated Marketing Operations Manager. Coordinate products, offers, audiences, assets, and timelines with Marketing, Creative, eCommerce, Merchandising, and other partners. Turn campaign briefs and go-to-market plans into email and SMS campaigns that are ready to launch. Partner with the Integrated Marketing Operations Manager on campaign processes and project management. Analytics and Reporting Track email and SMS performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Prepare weekly and monthly business review reporting. Report on the marketing-owned channel database and marketing lists. Identify opportunities for optimization and use A/B testing to improve engagement and performance. Qualifications Hands-on Listrak experience strongly preferred. Candidates with Listrak experience may be prioritized. 2-5 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, including campaign production, audience management, and performance measurement. Experience designing and producing marketing emails; a portfolio or work samples are strongly preferred. A track record of growing subscriber bases and driving revenue through email and SMS programs. Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations. Proficiency with Figma or a similar design tool preferred. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A passion for the outdoors and familiarity with outdoor gear and activities is a plus.
