$30 - 45 per hour A global retail leader is seeking a confident, data-savvy Licensing & Branding Specialist to join an expanding team supporting global product development and merchandising. Acting as the critical liaison between the organization and 100+ licensed brand partners, you will oversee brand compliance, manage product/packaging approval workflows, track purchase orders, and analyze contract data to ensure adherence to Direct-to-Retail (DTR) license agreements.Responsibilities:
Brand Ownership & Approvals:
Manage internal and external product approval forms and packaging assets via Airtable , ensuring all product development creations meet strict brand standards and "Brand DNA" prior to licensor submission.Compliance & PO Data Validation:
Audit weekly Purchase Order (PO) data across all divisions, manually tracking exception cases and resolving inquiries to guarantee full compliance with contract terms.Licensor Relationship Management:
Serve as the daily point of contact for licensors, managing category requests, onboarding new brand agreements, and organizing brand assets (trend books, inspiration, prints).Reporting & Royalty Processing:
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for internal finance, PD, and merchandising leadership using Excel (Pivot Tables) and Power BI ; prepare and submit monthly/quarterly royalty payments for approval.Contract Administration:
Utilize Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms like Eversort and SharePoint to review existing licensing terms, interpret contract language, and make recommendations to management.Stakeholder Presentations & Training:
Partner with team leadership to deliver training initiatives and present brand guidelines/updates to internal merchants, buying offices, and external stakeholders.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in brand licensing, retail brand management, or IP compliance-agency backgrounds or experience supporting major consumer brands/retailers (e.g., Hasbro, BJ's, CVS, Wayfair) are highly preferred.Licensing Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Direct-to-Retail (DTR) relationships, licensing contracts, and brand approval workflows.Data & Technical Stack:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, data interpretation); hands-on experience with Airtable, SharePoint, and Power BI is required.JOBID:
