Our hybrid remote work schedule combines three (3) days on premises with up to two (2) days remote. Key Roles The Marketing Specialist provides technical and marketing program support to EKPC member systems and EKPC¿s Member Services department. The position administers the tracking platform system that monitors Distributed Energy Resources (DER) program performance, rebates, advertising and sponsorship spends and provides program support and analysis. This position provides support for all marketing and branding programs and corporate sponsorships Key Responsibilities Provides DSM, DER, DLC, and marketing program support to member systems including program needs assessment, technical research/support and program implementation. Serves as a resource for technical information and support concerning DSM, DER, DLC and member advertising programs. Assists member systems with enrollments in DSM, DER, DLC and marketing incentive tracking/reporting platform. Implements and coordinates Co-op Connections program monthly reports and answers questions concerning program participants, offers and performance, and answering questions for member systems. Implements and coordinates EKPC¿s school program with freelance instructor, including scheduling, promotion and answering questions for member systems. Serves as coordinator for EKPC¿s Annual Meeting and assists with EKPC Board Member needs, including ordering materials for service awards and promotional items. Oversees the online tracking program for transfer payments to member systems, including large budgets each month with approval of each enrollment and verification of correct/honest reimbursement requests. Oversees, maintains, and prepares reports through the online and advertising tracking platform for member cooperatives and EKPC. Trains student worker and oversees responsibilities/performance of student. Serves as back-up for Corporate & Technical Department¿s DSM Program Manager on Direct Load Control (DLC) program. Assists with the research and evaluation of new or proposed sponsorships, advertising, and marketing. Analyzes and provides reports on advertising campaigns. Serves as key contact for EKPC¿s member services meetings, local special events, etc.; coordinates facilities, budgets, speakers, and exhibitors. Serves as budget gatekeeper for Member Services Department and provides input on annual budget. Maintains relationships with member system employees to ensure their needs are met on marketing, DSM, DER, DLC programs. Coordinates and/or assists in marketing/advertising-related training programs for member systems. Creates monthly reports for Cooperative Solar and Virtual Energy Assessment programs; reviews data and coordinates the shipping and delivery of materials to end-use members. Provides planning assistance for corporate marketing strategy. Serves as safety representative/liaison with corporate safety initiatives and projects for Member Services Department, including yearly calendar, safety newsletters, etc. Trains new EKPC and member system employees who use the online tracking platform. Provides proofreading support on communications and marketing assets. Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements Education:
Bachelor¿s Degree in related field (marketing, communications, public relations) preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience. Experience in communications, advertising, marketing, or customer service-related services.

Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to learn and thrive in technology-related programs Must exercise complete discretion, maturity, and confidentiality in handling information and records.
