About Generational Group Generational Group is North America's leading business transition firm, dedicated to helping business owners plan for and execute the successful sale of their company. With a team of more than 250 professionals and decades of combined M&A experience, we guide clients through every phase of the exit process — from strategic planning and business valuation to marketing, negotiation, and closing. Our mission is to maximize the value business owners receive for their life's work while ensuring a smooth and successful transition. We are committed to building long-term relationships grounded in trust, integrity, and results. At Generational Group, our people are our greatest asset, and we foster a collaborative, high-performance culture where every team member plays a meaningful role in our clients' success. Position Overview Generational Group is seeking a driven, detail-oriented marketing professional to support email marketing operations, Salesforce Marketing Cloud initiatives, lead engagement, and administrative coordination within a fast-paced M&A environment. This is an individual-contributor role best suited to an early- to mid-career marketer with roughly 2 plus years of hands-on campaign experience — not a senior or leadership-level position. The ideal candidate combines marketing technology expertise with strong project coordination and administrative capabilities, and is comfortable working with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, executing email campaigns, managing communication workflows, and supporting internal marketing and business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create and manage marketing journeys using Journey Builder. Build and manage Data Extensions and SQL-based audience segments to support accurate, personalized targeting. Sync and maintain data flow between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud platforms. Build, test, proofread, and execute email marketing templates and campaigns. Create and manage automated customer journeys and email workflows. Track and analyze email KPIs (open rate, CTR, CTOR, conversion, deliverability) and communicate performance insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. Conduct A/B and multivariate testing on subject lines, content, segmentation, and send times to improve engagement. Troubleshoot ESP and send-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely fixes. Follow up with interested leads and assist with lead engagement activities. Manage and monitor high-volume bulk email accounts and maintain accurate lead records. Assist with CRM organization, data integrity, and contact management. Provide administrative support for marketing and business development initiatives. Coordinate meetings, shipments, and internal communication activities. Assist with project coordination and additional marketing support activities as assigned. Maintain professional written and verbal communication in all interactions. Support multiple ongoing projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Necessary Skills & Attributes Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities. Problem solving, decisiveness, and resolution management. Strong follow-up skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Analytical and growth mindset. Ability to work independently. Excellent organizational skills. Strong attention to detail, with a QA-minded approach to proofreading and campaign accuracy. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in email marketing, marketing automation, or CRM-related roles. This is not a senior-level position — early- to mid-career candidates with the right hands-on experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM administration and configuration is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions) and SQL for audience segmentation is a strong plus.
- Only TX Residents will be considered.
