It's where people first decide if they trust a brand, and we build strategy from there, not after the fact. This role sits inside the strategy department. You'll work daily with brand strategy, creative, brand leadership, and our media department, and you're in the room before the brief goes out, not after the concept lands. We need a Senior Social Strategist who can already run the job at the strategist level and is ready to own it. You lead your accounts day to day. You set the standard for the strategists around you. Clients ask for you by name, and you know why. What You'll Do Lead strategy and client relationships on your accounts: social strategies, content calendars, campaign briefs, owned and competitive audits, social listening, and reporting. Lead paid and organic creative strategy, working with creative teams, so the work performs, not just publishes. Build influencer and creator strategies and briefs tied to brand strategy and choose creators based on fit and trust, not follower count. Run social listening and cultural insight work that shapes strategy before creative starts, not after. Mentor interns and direct strategists and help manage their workload. Own tool audits and vendor relationships. Flag resource gaps and scope opportunities before you're asked. If you see it before we do, that's the job. Support new business pitches alongside your director and start representing the agency publicly with opinion pieces and engaging POVs. What We're Looking For 4 to 6 years in social strategy, agency side preferred. Strong knowledge of platforms, the creator economy, and how paid social works with organic. Passionate about social strategy and in tune with culture and trends. Hands-on experience with social listening and analytics tools such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, or Sprinklr. Proven experience leading client relationships, not just supporting them. Experience mentoring or managing junior strategists. Strong writer, detail-oriented, and analytical, with good creative judgment Experience with tools such as Canva and Meta Business Manager.
Bonus:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) or experience with CapCut and content capture. How You'll Grow In this role, you move from doing the work to owning it. In your first year, you take full lead on at least one account, build a creator or influencer strategy that ties directly to brand results, and start contributing thought leadership under your own name. From there, you grow the strategists around you and take on more of the team's public voice. Next step from here is Associate Director.
