We built Apple Card to reinvent how credit cards work and launched Savings so Apple Card customers can have a radically simple way to grow their money. The Apple Financial Products team is seeking a skilled and experienced product lead to own and expand Savings. In this role, you will shape the strategy for Savings and drive execution against it. You will partner directly with the Human Interface, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Business Development, Operations, Fraud, and other functional teams across Apple to define and deliver a multi-year product roadmap. In addition to working cross-functionally, you'll also work closely with external partners to deliver results. You should have significant experience building and launching consumer products, a strong affinity for fintech, and passion for helping users achieve a healthier financial life. You will be expected to lead complex, cross-functional projects, diving into technical details as needed while never losing sight of the end-to-end customer experience. You combine technical proficiency, a strong sense of user experience, tact and business insight with empathy for the customer and your colleagues. You should have excellent presentation abilities and are able to craft a concrete vision and requirements that get executive support, rally the team, and delight customers. Description Own product roadmap; help envision and build new product features and strategies; lead definition of detailed use cases for engineering and design Develop and execute a strategy to help customers grow their money Evangelize to build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties Collaborate with Human Interface, Engineering, other Product Managers, and other functions to launch products and features and manage Savings business Drive efforts with bank and ecosystem partners on product development Represent business interests during design and development phases Work with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high-quality products are delivered on time Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various partners Define KPIs and develop plans based on measuring efficacy of features and initiatives Support incident response and executive escalation for a regulated, always-on financial product with senior executive-level visibility Travel may be required Preferred Qualifications Product management experience in fintech and emerging technologies MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative, technical, or finance discipline is a plus but not a requirement Experience setting product vision and multi-year product strategy to a large, cross-functional audience and executive stakeholders and then executing it Experience managing or mentoring product managers is desirable, as is interest in growing into a people leadership role Commercial acumen and fluency with complex contractual structures, including comfort engaging and partnering with Finance, Business Development and Legal to influence strategic and financial outcomes Experience launching and scaling products working with designers, engineers, and cross-functional subject matter experts and external partners Minimum Qualifications 8+ years or equivalent demonstrated product management experience with a proven track record of innovation, product delivery, and delivering on business goals. 6+ years experience working on large scale consumer products in FinTech Experience navigating and managing regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services space while balancing customer experience Comfort investigating product/market fit and competitive landscape, customer need, regulatory and partner feasibility; ability to translate findings into a clear recommendation on whether and how to proceed Technically minded to problem-solve with engineers, fraud, and security experts Strong communicator who can synthesize complex topics, distill key business dynamics, and communicate effectively with senior executives Effective problem solver and analytical thinker who can structure ambiguous problems/situations and review/guide complex analyses Ability to build collaborative partnerships to deliver on business KPIs and the product outcomes, including with Marketing, Data Science, and Finance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
