full-time Our client is seeking an experienced Materials Product Manager with 5- 10 years of experience to lead the development and commercialization of innovative materials-based products. This role will be responsible for managing products from concept and technical development through validation, regulatory requirements, commercialization, and market launch. About the Role The ideal candidate will combine strong product management expertise with materials science, technical development, and cross-functional leadership experience, particularly within regulated or highly technical products. The successful candidate will be able to translate complex materials technologies into commercially successful products while balancing customer requirements, technical performance, quality, regulatory compliance, cost, and time-to-market. Responsibilities Lead materials-based products from concept through commercialization and lifecycle management. Define product strategy, requirements, specifications, target applications, and commercialization plans. Partner with R D, materials scientists, engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, marketing, and commercial teams. Translate customer and market requirements into technical product specifications. Manage product development milestones, timelines, risks, and cross-functional deliverables. Support material formulation, testing, validation, scale-up, manufacturing transfer, and product launch activities. Evaluate material performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, and regulatory considerations. Develop product roadmaps and identify opportunities for new products and product improvements. Work closely with customers and technical stakeholders to understand application requirements and resolve product-related issues. Support regulatory submissions, technical documentation, quality requirements, and compliance activities for regulated products. Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify product opportunities and differentiation. Track product performance following launch and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, materials development, or commercialization. Demonstrated experience leading a materials-based product from concept through commercialization. Strong understanding of materials development, testing, qualification, and manufacturing processes. Experience working in cross-functional environments with R D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams. Strong project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and business strategies. Required Skills Experience with two or more of the following is required: Photopolymers Dental materials 3D printing / additive manufacturing materials Resins, polymers, composites, coatings, adhesives, or specialty chemicals Medical, dental, laboratory, or other regulated materials products Materials formulation and characterization Material qualification and validation Product scale-up and commercialization Quality systems and regulatory requirements
