Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in product management, working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and UX/UI stakeholders. 5 years of experience taking technical consumer products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.). 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary product roadmaps in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, policy, trust and safety) to deliver high-stakes safety or privacy features.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a technology or business related field. Experience delivering technical presentations to senior leadership and securing buy-in for ML-driven product ideas. Experience with discovery or adapting existing recommendation technology to a 0-1 product surface. Experience collaborating with AI/ML research or product partners to lead and integrate new technologies. Experience with ads relevance improvement for consumer products. Experience or passion working for the short form video industry. About the job At Google, we put our users first. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Define the strategy, goals, roadmap, and success metrics for performance and reliability. Partner with the central YouTube ads organization to develop and implement high-value, relevant advertising UX and ranking improvements on shorts to optimize the overall user ad journey. Collaborate with engineering, design, and research teams to bring product goals to life. Utilize data-driven decision making to measure performance, identify improvement areas, and iterate on the product experience.
