Job Description

Description We are seeking a creative and execution-oriented Principal Product Manager to lead the integration of Electric Autonomous Vehicles (EAVs) within our Middle Mile transportation network. This role sits at the intersection of electrification, autonomous driving technology, and large-scale logistics operations — shaping the future of the safest, most sustainable, and technologically advanced fleet in the world. You will own the end-to-end technical integration of electric autonomous trucking solutions, partnering with OEMs, autonomous technology providers, safety organizations, and internal stakeholders to deliver transformative outcomes at scale. Key job responsibilities
Vendor Technical Diligence:
Lead structured technical assessments of new autonomous driving (AD) stack and vehicle/robot platform vendors
  • both external partners and internal tech teams
  • evaluating systems architecture, functional safety maturity, and operational readiness against standardized Amazon requirements.
Technical Requirements & Specifications:
Collaborate with product managers across all autonomy verticals (in-yard autonomous driving, in-yard non-driving automation, on-road autonomous driving, and Electric Autonomous Vehicle (EAV)) to define hardware and software performance requirements, applying standards specified by Global Road Safety (GRS).
Technical & Safety Validation:
Validate that vendors and internal tech partners continuously meet defined requirements and specifications throughout development and operations; establish performance benchmarks and validation frameworks for each product lifecycle stage.
Cross-Vertical Integration:
Serve as the horizontal technical integration layer across all product verticals, ensuring consistent standards for safety case review, systems integration, and compliance across in-yard and on-road programs.
Stakeholder Alignment:
Partner with product managers, engineering, safety, and legal teams to translate technical and safety requirements into actionable integration plans; communicate findings to senior leadership with clarity and technical rigor. You'll engage with autonomous driving stack engineers, vehicle platform teams, and technology partners to evaluate, specify, and validate the systems powering Amazon's autonomous operations

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
