Job Description

Position Summary GWI Chemical Company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Manager who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) to manage the lifecycle of specialty chemical products and advanced materials. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and global business partners to drive product strategy, commercialization, and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Product Management Develop and execute product strategies aligned with GWI's business objectives. Manage the complete product lifecycle from market analysis through commercialization and end-of-life planning. Conduct competitive market research and identify new business opportunities. Develop product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans. Monitor sales performance, margins, and product profitability. Forecast product demand and collaborate with Supply Chain on inventory planning. Business Development Identify new customers, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities. Support key customer meetings and technical product presentations. Work closely with Sales to expand business in semiconductor, electronics, battery, and specialty chemical markets. Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers and customers. Develop annual business plans and growth strategies. Global Supplier & Customer Management Serve as the primary communication link between North American operations and Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers. Coordinate technical discussions, pricing negotiations, and business reviews. Translate technical and commercial information between English and Mandarin when required. Build and maintain long-term relationships with global partners. Engineering & Technical Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to introduce new products. Coordinate product qualifications, customer sampling, and product validation. Support product improvement initiatives and technical issue resolution. Assist customers with product selection and application guidance. Marketing Develop product positioning and value propositions. Create technical sales literature, product presentations, and marketing materials. Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events. Monitor industry trends and competitive products. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, and Customer Service. Lead cross-functional product launch teams. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Business Development, Technical Sales, or Marketing within the chemical, semiconductor, advanced materials, or manufacturing industries. Proven experience managing technical products and customer relationships. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. Required Skills Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking). Professional English communication skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively across global teams and cultures. Strong financial and business acumen. Customer-focused with a results-oriented mindset. Software Skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar) CRM software (Salesforce or equivalent) Microsoft Teams Project management tools Preferred Qualifications Experience working with manufacturers and suppliers in China or Taiwan. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and specialty chemical applications. Experience launching new products in global markets. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
quality systems. International travel experience and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%).
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
