Product Lifecycle Manager Ensign-Bickford Industries United States, Maine, Portland 500 Riverside Industrial Parkway (Show on map) Sep 02, 2026 This opportunity is located within our EnviroLogix business that develops and manufactures testing solutions for detecting GMOs, mycotoxins, plant pathogens, natural toxins and chemical contaminants in multiple agricultural matrices. Job Description EnviroLogix is seeking a driven and process-oriented Product Lifecycle Manager. The Product Lifecycle Manager is primarily responsible for product management activities such as product change management, price administration, SKU rationalization and portfolio management, and assisting with both product launch and commercialization activities. This role offers company-wide visibility as it requires partnership with other departments-such as Operations, Quality, R D, Sales, Finance, and Technical & Customer Support-to manage changes to product.
Responsibilities Include:
Manages SKU obsoletion and rationalization strategies of existing portfolios
Administers the Annual Pricing Management, communication and maintenance cycle
Administers the Product/Marketing related actions of the Engineering Change Notice Processes associated with Product and/or Documentation Changes
Supports Product Managers with Voice of the
Customer Logistics:
from Scheduling sessions to synthesizing reports
Supports Product Managers with building business cases for Product Launches, through the Product Commercialization Process
Supports Product Managers with Product Launches, through the Stage Gate process
Supports Product Managers, in partnership with Demand Generation team, with Campaign-related Value Proposition, Briefs, Webinars, and Collateral design inputs
Identifies quality improvement, margin expansion or cost saving opportunities for existing Products
Supports data collection needs of customer RFPs.
Supports Product Managers in ad-hoc projects and analyses.
Skills Required:
Demonstrated experience of cross-functional collaboration and communication Process discipline and execution Excellent attention to detail Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Self-motivated, execution-oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a changing environment Analytical and reasoning skills to identify, understand, and communicate the impact of changes Analytical and computational skills to calculate and administer pricing for product portfolio and customer agreements Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders via written communication Embrace and sustain change for the better Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems preferred, but not required
Experience & Education Requirements:
2 or more years in product management, product lifecycle/portfolio management, product operations, commercialization roles, or related cross-functional product/marketing/operations roles Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, operations, life science, engineering, or related field MBA can substitute some experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work within an office environment Must be able to utilize a computer for an extended period Must be able to travel domestically for business purposes, potential of travel
