Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is working with an established equipment manufacturer in Eastern Wake County that is hiring a Product Line Manager to support its compact construction equipment portfolio. This position will play an important role in strengthening product strategy, expanding market share, improving profitability, and guiding future equipment offerings. This individual should bring direct construction-equipment industry knowledge along with experience in product development, engineering, or product marketing. The position combines market research, customer insight, product planning, financial analysis, new-product development, competitive intelligence, launch support, and collaboration with technical and commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the current product portfolio and development pipeline while refining short- and long-term product roadmaps based on market trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning. Lead business-case and product-requirements development, translating voice-of-customer research into specifications, features, configurations, pricing considerations, and commercially viable product concepts. Manage new-product initiatives across engineering, finance, sales, marketing, product support, and other departments while tracking development progress and resolving cross-functional issues. Analyze competitive products, pricing, programs, market opportunities, and product-line financial performance to identify strategies for increasing sales, market share, and profitability. Support product launches through sales tools, training materials, technical collateral, presentations, trade shows, and coordination with marketing and commercial teams. Coordinate product testing and performance evaluation, monitor results, support technical documentation, and prepare recurring product and business-performance reports for leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with approximately 5-7 years of related business experience within the construction equipment industry. Approximately 3-5 years of experience in product development, engineering, product management, or product marketing. Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment markets, customer requirements, product specifications, competitive analysis, pricing, and new-product commercialization. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including the ability to analyze information and communicate findings in concise, actionable formats. Strong project-management, prioritization, problem-solving, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently. $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
