$110.000 - $122,000 Annually Help Shape the Future of Engine Solutions Do you enjoy combining technical expertise with business strategy? Are you passionate about helping customers identify the right mechanical solutions while driving product growth? An established supplier serving OEM manufacturers and equipment dealers across North America is looking for a Product Portfolio Manager to oversee a family of gasoline engine products used in commercial and industrial equipment. This position offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, work directly with customers, collaborate with engineering teams, and support new business initiatives across a growing market. In This Role You Will Guide the direction and growth of an established engine product portfolio. Collaborate with OEM customers to understand equipment requirements and recommend product solutions. Support field sales teams during customer meetings, technical presentations, and product evaluations. Partner with engineering resources on application questions, prototype projects, and product implementation. Analyze competitive products and market opportunities to strengthen product positioning. Develop technical resources, customer presentations, and educational materials for internal and external audiences. Assist with forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory planning, and overall product performance. Build strong relationships with distributor and dealer partners by providing technical guidance and product expertise. Identify opportunities to expand market share through new applications and replacement opportunities. What Makes You Successful You enjoy solving technical problems while also thinking commercially. You are comfortable discussing mechanical products with engineers, sales professionals, distributors, and customers, and you enjoy helping products succeed throughout their lifecycle. Preferred Background We're interested in professionals who have experience in one or more of the following areas: Product Management Product Line Management Technical Product Support OEM Sales Application Engineering Technical Business Development Experience working with products such as: Small gasoline engines Outdoor power equipment Turf and landscape equipment Commercial mowing products Portable power equipment Utility engines Industrial mechanical equipment Ideal Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Minimum three years of experience managing or supporting technical products Background supporting OEM manufacturers, dealers, distributors, or industrial customers Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand product applications Experience working with pricing, product launches, competitive analysis, or portfolio management Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel throughout the United States as needed This role provides exposure to product strategy, customer engagement, engineering collaboration, and business development, all within an organization that values technical expertise and entrepreneurial thinking.
