About SignalQuest SignalQuest is a successful, privately held technology company based in Lebanon, New Hampshire. For more than two decades, SignalQuest has designed and manufactured rugged sensors used in demanding environments across industries including heavy equipment, industrial systems, and machine control. Our sensors are trusted by major OEMs and leading machine control companies worldwide. All engineering and manufacturing are performed onsite in Lebanon. The company is launching a new brand and product line, Kinsman (kinsmanpro.com), to sell GPS jobsite measurement systems to small business earthwork contractors. This is a major market opportunity, and SignalQuest is building the team to make it happen. Position Overview We are looking for an outstanding Product Manager to help build and scale the Kinsman SitePoint product line. SitePoint combines precision GNSS RTK and INS technology, rugged hardware, and an intuitive mobile application to help earthwork contractors measure, lay out, grade, and complete jobs more efficiently. Our goal is to make sophisticated positioning technology useful to contractors who may never have used GPS or traditional machine-control systems before. This is a highly hands-on product role. You will work directly with customers, engineers, designers, sales, and company leadership to identify important customer problems, define effective solutions, and drive those solutions from concept through release and iteration. The ideal candidate combines exceptional customer instincts with analytical and technical depth . You should be equally comfortable talking with an excavator operator on a jobsite, thinking through the accuracy requirements of a measurement workflow, writing a detailed product specification, and project managing features to success. You will report directly to the President of Kinsman and will have significant responsibility for shaping both the product and the way the Kinsman team builds it. You recognize that small workflow, wording, accuracy, and edge-case decisions can determine whether a product succeeds in the field. Thinks analytically. You break complicated problems into understandable pieces and use evidence and sound reasoning to make decisions. Takes ownership. You do not stop at writing requirements. You stay involved until the product works well for the customer. Are disciplined. You maintain priorities, specifications, timelines, decisions, and follow-up without creating unnecessary process. Learn quickly. You are comfortable becoming knowledgeable in technical subjects that may initially be unfamiliar. Prefer practical solutions. You care more about solving the customer's problem effectively than following fashionable product-management frameworks. Thrive in a fast-moving environment. You are comfortable building a new product, changing direction when evidence warrants it, and figuring things out as the team learns. Enjoy being close to the product. You want to test it, use it, watch customers use it, and understand why something does or does not work. Why Join SignalQuest? Help build a new product and brand from an early stage Work directly with customers whose day-to-day work can be meaningfully improved by the product Own meaningful product decisions rather than a narrow feature area within a large organization Work on interesting problems involving construction workflows, mobile software, precision positioning, sensors, maps, and connected hardware Work closely with experienced hardware, firmware, software, design, sales, and manufacturing teams See product decisions tested quickly in real-world environments Have significant influence over product direction and how the Kinsman product organization operates Join a small, entrepreneurial team while benefiting from the resources and stability of a successful, established parent company
