Job Description

Product Development Administrative Coordinator We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Product Development Administrative Coordinator to support our Product Development team and help us create the best snacks on earth. Position Summary This role provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Product Development department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The position involves coordinating sample orders, scheduling production activities, maintaining documentation and certification records, supporting supplier approval processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Product Development Manager Provide administrative support for daily Product Development operations Process and coordinate customer and sales sample requests Schedule production trials and product development activities Maintain ingredient libraries, product databases, and vendor records Manage third-party certification administration and supplier approval documentation Coordinate product and material sample requests and shipments Generate reports, spreadsheets, forms, labels, and correspondence Organize meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and trade show activities Communicate effectively with sales, logistics, and production teams Ensure documentation and processes comply with FDA, OSHA, GFSI, HACCP, and food safety standards Support recordkeeping and documentation management across departments Qualifications 3+ years of office administration, office assistant, or related experience required Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management/ERP software Experience in food manufacturing or regulated industries is a plus Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Piscataway, NJ required What We Offer Opportunity to work in a growing family-owned company Collaborative and innovative team environment Hands-on involvement in exciting snack product development Career growth opportunities within the food manufacturing industry
Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour
