Job Description

Founded in 1958, Jonard Tools® manufactures tools for the Telecom, CATV, Fiber Optic, Home Automation, Security & Alarm, and Electrical markets. Jonard Tools designs and engineers patented products by utilizing customer partnerships to create innovative solutions for industry needs. New tools are released each month and are all Made For Life® with lifetime warranties. Through quality and innovation Jonard aims to move the industry forward and connect the world. We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the full lifecycle of our products, from Engineering Release through Launch and Post-Launch. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product & Technical Services, this role is the day-to-day coordination point between Sales, Marketing, and Engineering during a launch, and a hands-on contributor to the research and analysis that shapes product and pricing decisions.
Please note:
This is a full-time in-office role. Product Launch Coordination Support coordination between Sales, Marketing & Engineering across all phases of a product launch Assist in developing and tracking NPI (New Product Introduction) and go-to-market timelines Interview internal engineers to help build external and internal sales sheets and competitive data analysis sheets Support Sales, Marketing, and Engineering in scheduling launch timing and promotional plans Product Packaging Assist with design, implementation, and approval workflows for product packaging Support Special Opportunities, Limited Editions, and White Label packaging projects Coordinate with the marketing team on packaging inserts and promotions Competitive & Market Analysis (Internal Records) Research and document competitor pricing and feature comparisons directly in NetSuite, maintaining these as internal records used for pricing and positioning decisions Track price & feature comparisons against competitor products Help identify opportunities to differentiate products on features and value Monitor Amazon sales comparisons and competitor pricing and go-to-market strategy Track new competitor product introductions Assist in building quarterly market share reports Product Lifecycle Support Help maintain processes for product discontinuation or replacement Identify potential distributor or consumer promotions tied to lifecycle changes Support naming and packaging concept development for new products alongside marketing staff Provide research and data to support pricing recommendations Support Engineering in product roadmap discussions Tools & Systems You'll Use NetSuite (product data) Microsoft Excel (competitive analysis, pricing models, market share tracking) Microsoft Word / PowerPoint (sales sheets, launch materials, presentations) HubSpot (as needed for product support) Qualifications Bachelor's degree 1-2 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related field Strong multitasking skills and high attention to detail Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects at once Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Eagerness to learn the full product lifecycle with a path toward increased ownership Jonard Tools provides a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
