Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and strategic Experience Product Manager specialized in Internet of Things (IoT) devices to lead the development and enhancement of innovative connected products. In this role, you will drive product strategy, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless integration of IoT solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. Your leadership will empower teams to leverage cutting-edge technologies, data analytics, and agile methodologies to create impactful IoT products that meet market demands and customer expectations. This is a paid position designed for a proactive professional eager to shape the future of connected device experiences. Duties Define and execute comprehensive product strategies for IoT devices, aligning with organizational goals and market trends. Lead requirements gathering sessions, translating stakeholder needs into detailed specifications and user stories. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop system architecture, APIs, and integrations utilizing AWS cloud services and IT infrastructure standards. Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through deployment, including wireframing with tools like Balsamiq and UML modeling. Coordinate with cross-functional teams on software development using Agile practices such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban; utilize project management tools like Jira, VersionOne, TFS, and Microsoft Project. Oversee testing phases including user acceptance testing (UAT), test case creation, and validation to ensure quality standards are met. Drive data-driven decision making by analyzing analytics from Looker, SQL databases, and data analytics tools to optimize product features and performance. Facilitate stakeholder communication across departments including engineering, marketing, IT governance, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on product goals. Ensure compliance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), IT governance policies, and security standards throughout the development process. Lead team efforts in wireframing, requirements design, system analysis, and strategic management to deliver innovative IoT solutions that enhance user engagement. Experience Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role managing IoT devices or connected hardware products. Extensive knowledge of Agile software development methodologies such as SAFe and Waterfall project management approaches. Strong technical background with familiarity in AWS cloud platforms, APIs, Java programming language, HTML, SQL databases, Git version control system, UML diagrams, and mobile applications development. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in software development projects utilizing tools like Jira, TFS, VersionOne, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint & Excel), Balsamiq for wireframing, and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations. Experience managing product development projects within IT infrastructure environments; understanding of SDLC processes is essential. Excellent analysis skills with a focus on requirements design, stakeholder coordination, data analytics, and user experience optimization. Strong leadership qualities with proven success in team management, stakeholder communication, collaboration with engineering teams, and strategic planning. Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems including device connectivity protocols (APIs), system integration techniques, and security considerations for connected devices is highly desirable. $94,817.67 - $114,189.02 per year
