Product Development Coordinator:
Fashion & Apparel candidates located near the Manhattan, NY area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
  • Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experience.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
  • 3-5 years of product design/development experience
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven experience coordinating end-to-end product development timelines, sample management, vendor communication, and cross-functional workflow execution.
  • Strong background creating and maintaining product data tools including line sheets, classification charts, composite documents, PLM systems, or merchandising databases.
  • Demonstrated success supporting high-volume, fast-paced retail calendars with multiple seasonal launches and tight deadlines.
Job Overview:
Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products. Monitors overall development process for product line.
Responsibilities:
  • Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners. Creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
  • Coordinates workflow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising.
  • Tracks development to ensure execution is within timeframes.
  • Communicates design development details.
  • Typically reports to the Product Development Manager. Typically, no direct reports.
