Hybrid, greater Akron, Ohio area (two remote days per week). Candidates must live within commuting distance.
Salary:
up to $180,000, depending on background and experience. Unfortunately, only U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our established logistics and transportation organization is investing in AI and intelligent automation. As RPA Team Lead, you will build and scale Microsoft Copilot Studio agents, establish enterprise AI governance, and take ownership of our existing UiPath RPA portfolio. Technologies include Copilot Studio, Power Platform, UiPath, and generative/agentic AI tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set the automation vision, roadmap, and quarterly OKRs; manage the intake backlog and prioritize business demand. Lead design and deployment of Copilot Studio agents for Finance, Logistics, Safety, Fleet Services, and shared services. Govern generative and agentic AI tools, and lead vendor evaluation, licensing, and build-vs-buy decisions. Take operational ownership of the UiPath portfolio as it transitions from external support to in-house, covering the full RPA lifecycle, code reviews, CI/CD, and integrations (ERP, TMS, APIs, Azure, SQL Server). Lead a Senior and a Junior Automation Engineer using Agile/Scrum in Azure DevOps; mentor and develop the team. Partner with business stakeholders, report on KPIs (cycle time, accuracy, ROI), and document processes and SOPs. Provide 24x7 support for critical automations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in intelligent automation/RPA, including 3+ years leading delivery across multiple business domains. Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps). Working knowledge of UiPath (Studio/StudioX, Orchestrator, REFramework) or a similar RPA platform. Experience designing, deploying, or governing generative/agentic AI in an enterprise. Strong business analysis skills, plus SQL, API, and Azure integration experience. Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Willingness to provide 24x7 support and travel up to 20%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
UiPath Advanced Developer or Microsoft Power Platform/Copilot Studio certifications. Experience building AI/automation governance frameworks or Centers of Excellence. Familiarity with process mining and task mining.
