Job Description
Product Manager - Parts & Aftermarket Strategy Piqua, OH AT3 Staffing is partnered with a leading global manufacturer in the food equipment industry to identify a Product Manager who will own strategy and performance for a key parts product line. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and operations—driving pricing, lifecycle strategy, and go-to-market execution for aftermarket parts and service solutions. This is a highly cross-functional position with visibility across engineering, supply chain, sales, and service teams, and is ideal for someone who enjoys blending analytical thinking with strategic decision-making. What You'll Be Responsible For Own the product strategy and lifecycle management for a core parts product line—from new equipment launch through end-of-life Develop and execute pricing strategies to drive revenue growth while meeting profitability targets Define and optimize the parts portfolio strategy , including individual components, assemblies, and kitting opportunities Analyze market trends, customer needs (VOC), and competitive dynamics to inform product positioning and growth opportunities Partner with Inventory Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and parts availability throughout the product lifecycle Lead competitive analysis and differentiation efforts , translating insights into impactful messaging for sales and marketing teams Maintain integrity of the parts item master and ERP data , ensuring accuracy across systems and workflows Act as the technical and strategic liaison between parts, engineering, and service teams Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, quality, operations, sales, marketing, and field service to drive alignment and execution What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required; background in engineering, business, or marketing preferred 3+ years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or engineering Experience with aftermarket parts, service support, or equipment-based products strongly preferred Strong analytical and financial acumen , with the ability to make data-driven decisions around pricing, margins, and investments Familiarity with ERP systems and parts/product data management Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives forward without direct authority Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business impact Key Traits for Success Strategic thinker who can also execute at a tactical level Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Naturally collaborative, with the ability to build relationships across functions Proactive, self-directed, and motivated to continuously improve processes and performance Additional Details Primarily office-based with exposure to warehouse operations ~25% travel to manufacturing sites, suppliers, and internal meetings Standard business hours with flexibility as needed to meet deadlines
