Job Description

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
What's the job? Our residential roofing business is at a pivotal moment—balancing a high-performing legacy portfolio with the need to evolve, innovate, and stay ahead in a competitive and shifting market. The shingles portfolio you'll lead is not only highly visible, but also central to our growth strategy, representing over $500M in revenue and carrying meaningful business risk and opportunity. We need a Product Manager who can bring clarity, ownership, and forward-thinking strategy to this space. Someone who can connect the dots across market trends, customer needs, and internal capabilities—and translate that into a compelling product roadmap and positioning. In this role, you will serve as the hub between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across Go-to-Market, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and R D. Your ability to influence without authority, make data-driven decisions, and drive execution will be critical to maintaining our market leadership and unlocking future growth. Ultimately, we need you to: Own and evolve a strategically critical product portfolio Drive decisions that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer value Bring insight and rigor to pricing, positioning, and product development Ensure cross-functional alignment to deliver results at scale This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, takes initiative, and is motivated by the impact of their work on a large, dynamic business.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
What do you bring?
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in marketing and/or product management required. Prior experience within a formal product management function preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong ability to plan, organize, integrate, and measure projects and programs. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong business and financial acumen (including P&L management and product costing). Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of proficiency with standard business and analytical tools. Ability to operate effectively across all levels of the organization and drive results through collaboration.
Time Allocation:
Approximately 30% of this role will involve travel to participate in internal and external meetings, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
